We built the proofwe kept looking for.
ATAC Global CX is an independent credentialing authority for remote customer experience agents. It is operated by ATAC Anagenesis Inc., incorporated in Ontario, Canada in 2024, and built on more than twenty years of hands-on CX and BPO operating experience.
Twenty years running the floor. Then building the standard.
Before ATAC Global CX existed, its founders spent two decades inside the work it now measures. Tugs Smith built what she describes as Canada’s first million-dollar-plus Arise Virtual Solutions BPO. Adrian Smith led ATAC as President from 2011 until January 2024, running a remote customer service and sales operation out of Durham Region, Ontario.
The business was built around a specific conviction: capable people are everywhere, and the ones who are best on a live call are often the ones who interview worst, live in the wrong postal code, or hold no credential an employer will accept. In 2013 that approach put ATAC on the Season 2 finale of Million Dollar Neighbourhood on the Oprah Winfrey Network, because of how the company hired. The focus was on building quality customer service and sales roles for people from all walks of life, including people in vulnerable situations and people facing accessibility barriers.
ATAC Global CX is that same conviction rebuilt as infrastructure. The Certified Remote Service Agent credential, the CRSA, puts a candidate through a 40-question assessment and a live call simulation, scores the performance, and writes the result to a public blockchain so any employer can verify it independently, free, with no account required.
A family business, still run by its operators.

Tugs Smith
Tugreofia “Tugs” Smith has spent twenty years in customer experience and founded what she describes as Canada’s first million-dollar-plus Arise Virtual Solutions BPO.
She designed the CRSA around the gap she watched cost people jobs for two decades. The best agents on a live call routinely lose out to candidates who simply interview better or live somewhere more convenient, because the one skill that decides the outcome was never actually measured. Her answer was to measure it, on a real scenario, and make the result portable and verifiable so it belongs to the agent rather than the employer.
She leads ATAC Global CX and its instruction, and is based in Oshawa, Ontario.

Adrian Smith
Adrian Smith led ATAC as President from 2011 to January 2024, building a remote customer service and sales operation out of Durham Region, Ontario.
He now runs operations and the platform at ATAC Global CX: the assessment engine, the ATAC Call Readiness Simulator, the credential registry, and the on-chain verification layer that lets an employer confirm a credential from a single link. His working position is that a credential nobody can check is not a credential, which is why verification at ATAC is free, public, and requires no account.
He studied at Seneca Polytechnic, is originally from Scarborough, Toronto, and is based in Oshawa, Ontario.
